Overview

Human Apply Hub ("we," "us," "our") helps job seekers tailor applications and, where you opt in, provides specialist-assisted support with your resume, LinkedIn profile, applications, interview preparation, and offers. This policy explains what information we collect when you use humanapplyhub.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

We built this Service around honesty — with the people who use it and about how their data is handled. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@humanapplyhub.com and we'll explain.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.

Resume and job application content. When you use the resume/job-description analysis tool, or work with a specialist, we collect the resume and job description content you provide (uploaded files or pasted text), along with the analysis results, tailoring notes, and any application materials produced from them.

Contact form submissions. If you reach out through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message, along with anything else you choose to share.

Communications. If you email us or reply to our emails, we keep that correspondence to respond to you and maintain a record of the conversation.

Automatically collected information. Like most web services, our hosting and email providers log basic technical information (such as IP address and timestamps) for security and delivery purposes. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell data collected this way.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account, and authenticate you when you sign in.
• To generate your match score, keyword gaps, tailoring checklist, and interview prep.
• To provide specialist-assisted services you opt into — resume curating, LinkedIn optimization, applying on your behalf, ongoing search and tracking, interview support, mock interviews, job support, and offer review.
• To send you transactional emails — a welcome email when you sign up, and updates related to your account or applications.
• To respond to messages you send us through the contact form or by email.
• To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service.

AI-Assisted Analysis

When AI-powered analysis is enabled, the resume and job description text you submit is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, solely to generate your analysis (match score, keyword gaps, tailoring suggestions, and interview questions). When AI analysis isn't configured, analysis is instead produced entirely by our own local, non-AI keyword-matching engine, and nothing is sent to a third party for that purpose. Either way, we don't use your resume or job description content to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.

How We Share Information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers. We use trusted providers to run the Service: Neon (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), Resend (transactional email delivery), and, where enabled, Anthropic (AI analysis). Each only receives the data needed to perform its function.
• Specialists. If you use specialist-assisted services, the relevant team members handling your search see the resume, job preferences, and application content needed to do that work on your behalf.
• Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Human Apply Hub, our users, or others.
• With your direction. When your specialist applies to a role on your behalf, the application materials are shared with that employer or their applicant-tracking system, as would happen with any job application.

Data Retention

We keep your account and application data for as long as your account is active, so you can return to past analyses and continue your search. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it for legal or security reasons.

Your Rights and Choices

You can:

• Access or update your account information at any time.
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request that we delete your account and associated data.
• Opt out of non-essential emails (transactional emails related to your account, like security notices, will still be sent).

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in securely between visits. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data at every step.

Children's Privacy

Human Apply Hub is intended for individuals who are legally eligible to work in their jurisdiction and is not directed to children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
